Prof.
Dymek's colleague Tomas Feininger took these photos in
one of their field
areas in Quebec. Why would somebody do this to a car?
Does it increase gas mileage? Is there a wood burner in the
back seat? Do the owners need the insurance money? Prof Dymek
says "The porc
e'pics, as they are known in Quebecoise, love to eat hoses
and brake linings. So, the people make these log tents to
dispel those creatures. But, alas, both of those cars had
to be towed because the deterrents proved ineffective!" |
