(96000-20cm-1) and tungsten halogen (25000-2000cm-1); Ge/KBr Beam splitter
w/extended spectral region: (11,000 to 375 cm-1)
Sampling accessories for solid sample studies:
- Standard transmission accessory
- A diamond ATR accessory: Golden Gate
- A combination diffuse reflectance/fixed angle specular reflectance
accessory: Harrick "Cricket" accessory configured for an
upward-facing, horizontally-mounted sample
Emission Port: Internal directing mirrors and instrument port
for focusing an external emission source into the interferometer.
Sample preparations:
- Powder sample - no preparation needed
- Rock sample - two parallel flat surfaces, or original
surface for reflectance study
- Liquid or film sample - no preparation needed
